In the wake of last week's sensless tragedy, we as a city must come together and show our love for one another now more than ever. We must stand in the face of adversity, and show how strong we as a city are. Toronto is one of the most unique cities, being that we as Torontonians come from just about everywhere in the world; and that is a beautiful thing! But, as different as we all may be, we all call Toronto home, and this unites us all!

Please take this time to get closer to those around you. Of course I mean friends and family, but I also mean your coworkers, neighbours, even those you might sit next to on the subway. We have become so busy and life is moving so fast thanks to technology, that we have forgotten what it is to be nice to one another. We put our earphones in, and burry our faces in books, just to keep to ourselves. Let's try smiling at one another again. Let's become what evreyone in the world believes us to be: nice!

We live in the most unique city in the world. We should be treating each other with love and compassion. That is what this city needs right now.

This picture was taken by me at the memorial for the people we lost during the van incident. The colage was made by complete strangers for complete strangers. Why do we have to wait until it is no longer possible to show our love for each other to do so? We should show our love to each other each and every day.

<3  LOVE IS THE ANSWER! <3

Anyways, I just want to thank you all for reading this blog post. It really means a lot to me that you have taken the time out of your day to do so, so thank you. If there's anything to be taken from what I've written, it's just to be kind to others while going through this thing called life. It costs us nothing, and means so much to those we are kind to. I believe we all have it in us, and that's why this city is so great!

So please, smile more often, live life like it's your last, enjoy the company of those around you, and always stay kind to one another; you never know, it might just open up your world to new possibilities!

Thank you for your time!

Sincerely,

Kid
